Raleigh N.C.

Postby scramblerman » Wed Jun 09, 2010 6:10 am

Thinking about having a weekend get together at my house. Room for at least 10 CRX's in the back yard and plenty of room for tents or people can stay on my 14 x 24 screened in porch with cable tv and ceiling fans to keep us cool.

I live out in the country about 15 miles Southwest of Raleigh. There's a lot of winding country roads around the area for your enjoyment. :D

Not sure when i'd like to have it. Whatever works out for most people as long as its not a holiday weekend its fine with me.

EDIT; I've decided to have it August 7th and 8th. Seems to be a better weekend for most people wanting to attend.

Hey Steve. Like I said, my calender is pretty full until mid to late July. However I would be up for a get together.

I wouldn't mind going. I stay in Durham. Keep me posted when you decide to have the meet.

I'm thinking the weekend of July 31st and August 1st if thats ok with everyone.

We can go out on the boat if we have less than 10 people. There's a cove on Jordan lake where everyone hangs out. It's only 15 minutes from my house to the boat ramp.

July 31st and August 1st it is. It's safe here so you don't have to worry about your car. Everyone can park out in the back yard.

I hope to have the boat done by then if everything goes alright. Pulling the engine out after the 4th.

Count me out that weekend. I'm going on vacation. :(

If anyone want to meet up lunch or dinner one day just let me and I'm down.

Would you consider another weekend since it seems like that's a bad weekend for many?

I was just thinking about that.

Is the following weekend alright with everyone? That would be August 7th and 8th.

It doesnt matter to me.

If its the 7th and 8th, I might be able to make it all the way from Cincinnati (if I'm done with painting, that is). I should be in town for a concert with my gf. My rex is looking better, nylumiro, took care of that radiator leak, and got rid of that stupid body kit/tail light combo. Still not looking as good as yours, but I'm working on it.

Good deal. Looking forward to meeting some more people from the board.

We need a charcoal grill so I can cook these though.
