CRXLevi's Gallery

Postby CRXlevi » Tue May 20, 2014 2:35 pm

This is where I will start posting pictures of my CRX and let all of you enjoy them :)
I bought my girlfriend a new DSLR camera for her birthday but I am using it till it is time to give it to her.
She is more artistic than me so she will take amazing pics.
At first I will just have a couple of teasers but when I get more pics I am sure to post them as the years go by :)
If you have any suggestions for my car please let me know as I am young and looking to keep this car for as long as possible. :-)b
This is not a riced out car and by no means do I ever try to race, I know the importance of trying to keep these cars in great condition and not ruining the standard they were built upon.

My favorite picture so far:

1.Read each of the FAQ's in each forum, lots of good, relevant info in there, especially for someone starting out.
2.Remove the ridiculous, offset "Japanese" plate.

Put it on with velcro, then. :P

I'd suggest updating the hood pins to Aerocatch ones. They look much better. To make any more suggestions, we'd have to see more pics of your car, though.

Def will look into it. I bought some new hood pins that looked better but was too lazy to put them on, so they were sitting around and Ithink they got thrown away on accident.

Found some aerocatch unused hood pins for $40 on craigslist. I may buy them.

Got some updated photos. Had a little shoot with my friend that has an RX8.
It was fun doing the rolling shots because operating a professional camera and driving manual was kind of a challenge. Hope you enjoy :D

Nice looking car, great color.
Two small things I dislike, the "euro diamond" clear corner lights and the middle trim/bump strips NOT being black.

I'd have to agree on all counts. Have we mentioned the front license plate too?

Looks like a great base to start from. Any idea where you want this car to go from here, or are you just planning on maintenance and simple stuff?

Thanks Baker. Yea I have thought about painting those actually. I think it will make it look more unique and not just straight one color throughout the car.
Tommy, I am going into the military and leave in october so I am not putting too much money into it. But depending on where I am stationed I may drive the car there or I will put it into storage and have a full rebuild on my engine and tranny when I get out of the military. I enjoy the low insurance and gas bill and to do a full rebuild is going to cost way less than buying a new car.
Right now I am just upkeeping and keeping it as clean as possible.
May paint it shiny black when I get out. But I have 6 years to ponder on that haha.

So with the help of photoshop, and by no means am I a pro, I added in the black trim. Of course it doesnt have the shadowing and everything but it doesn't look too bad.

Getting the trim back to black will definitely be an improvement, the Gray body color with black trim will look good and give it some contrast.
