It all depends on the car. $1800 is obviously not too much to pay if the car is in good condition. If the engine is blown and the car is rusty, it's not worth $1800. You'll have to decide what makes this car really worth dealing with rusty quarters (I would deal with rusty quarter panels for an awesome engine swap, or super-low mileage, etc.)...just figure out what it will cost to repair the rust, add it to the cost of the car, and see if you can find a rust-free car for less than the total of rusty car + paint/bodywork.JKG08 said:
