i'm assuming the motor is good (owner wasnt home) and the body has some rust i'm gonna need to take care of......just wanted to know if u guys think $1,800 is a good price for an 89 si......i think it is and i am gonna try and buy it but i kinda wanted to get ur guys oppinion on the price.........like i said......assuming the motor is good untill i get a hold of the owner, the body looked decent other than some rust on rear quarters, and interior looked good too

It all depends on the car. $1800 is obviously not too much to pay if the car is in good condition. If the engine is blown and the car is rusty, it's not worth $1800. You'll have to decide what makes this car really worth dealing with rusty quarters (I would deal with rusty quarter panels for an awesome engine swap, or super-low mileage, etc.)...just figure out what it will cost to repair the rust, add it to the cost of the car, and see if you can find a rust-free car for less than the total of rusty car + paint/bodywork.

yeah i told the guy i'd give him $1,500 but he wouldnt take it.....and i think its just too much rust to pay anymore than that so oh well......guess i'll just keep my eyes out for another one cuz this one is still up for sale haha
