I have a 1988 CRX for sale. The body is in great shape with almost no rust.

Where is the rust and it was not taken care of when the car was painted?

There is a little bit of rust in the spare tire area where that plug goes. Maybe 2 inches. I treated it with Rust-Oleum before I dynomatted the area.

Nothing on the rear quarters or lower rockers, or by the jack points, all original sheet metal?
When was this repainted?
Mileage on the car?
What maintenance has been done?
Any interior shots and more pics showing of the car, showing more details and more than just the front end?

All original sheet metal with no rust in the rear quarters, lower rockers or jack points. The paint isnt great it was a cheap job, its kinda a low gloss white paint done before i got the car about ten years ago. Maintenance is a lot and I could go through it all, although I dont know if it has bent valves on the d16zc motor after the timing jumped when I was trying to start the car after nor realizing a washer fell into the timing belt area. I'm planning on including the LSVTEC with the car with everything for the swap, motor mounts, and linkage. I need to double check on the mileage but I believe it displays around 150k but who knows if that's accurate. There is a lot to go over, this was a daily for a while, that I also tracked a couple times and autocrossed. After I moved out of the state it has stat covered only getting driven a couple times a year until winter 2019 when the timing jumped.

What did this start out as, a "Dx" or HF model?
I'm asking because there is a lot of mix and match parts, 90/91 parts on an '88 car, mismatched paint, trying to get a real feel as to what it is. You mentioned it was a "project car" but was a daily for awhile, that you tracked, now you mention it's going to need a valve job as well.
There is a lot going on here to sort out.

I 100% agree there is a lot going on which is why I say feel free to message me and we can chat briefly to see if it would be a good fit for you. In my third sentence of the post I say that it would need to be towed and that the timing skipped and I am uncertain if valves are bent or not. It was a DX originally.

Which is why I said also, if an ad was posted with plenty of detailed pics along with a detailed writeup as to what was known about the car and the stuff that was asked about, there would be no need to call and talk about it.

I have a 1988 CRX for sale. The body is in great shape with almost no rust. It would need to be towed as the engine jumped timing 2 years ago and has sat since then. I need to sell the vehicle and all of the parts and spares that I have with it. Feel free to text me more questions or to make reasonable offers. I will post more photos later on and as requested. The back is gutted, but I have plastics and other interior panels.

I have purchased this CRX and related parts from rickapl (bit of an impulse buy), everything does seem to check out as he stated: car is about as rust free as you can expect a CRX at this price point to be (bit of normal spot of rust at the rear of the rear wheel arches and some in the spare tire area, most likely from leaking window seals) but the car is in pretty good shape.
