The dream of having a "keeper" 1st gen CRX is fading,....
.... Because I have just been told I must move out of my place in 2 months.
In the garage I must vacate is a "lightly crashed" 1987 Si. I bought it back from the insurance company and drove it for another 6 months, then parked it. It has not moved in about 8 years.
The metal body is shot.
The engine and tranny worked when parked.
I'd just put new KYB's at all 4 corners.
The glass is all there.
Exhaust parts/cat from a previous CRX are in there, too.
That metal trim strip between the tail lights and bumper.
Some body panels are potentially viable, but the right front corner is where it took the hit, so nothing good up there.
Headliner(s) (addnl. from prev. CRX).
Interior generally intact (multi-switch cluster and ignition key are gone)
I'm rather crunched for time, so can't part the car out and ship.
Looking for someone who might have interest.
The car is located in the Sodus Point NY area.
I'll be checking back frequently, but PM's might be the way to go if they show up in my e-mail inbox.
The sooner the car is gone the better it will be for me.
It will be scrapped at the end of April.
Thanks,
Neil
