i do have an 87 prelude fully intacked with a b20 how much trouble to swap into my rex just another angle ive been pondering and havent had any input from anybody around my area if this is a better idea let me know and i'll do that like i said the prelude is complete other than busted cv axles

I'm assuming that is a B20A engine? If so, be careful. Those ones are quite a bit weaker in design than the B20B/B20Z engines

That's not a true "B-series" motor like the 16s or 18s. The sleeves on those are supposed to be very strong, I've heard that people tear them apart to replace the rings, only to find the factory homing still visible on the cylinder walls.

The mounts on the B20A and B21A are different from the rest of the B-series blocks. The trans bolt holes might be different too but I'm not 100% sure. Anyway they don't really fit in anything but Preludes.

they call it the bastard b for a reason. its one of a kind. would be a lot of work to swap one.
