I bought my si about 2 weeks ago, the kid i bought it from said he hadnt started it since the beginning of the summer. So I replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, distributer and rotor button, pulled the fuel pump to ensure it worked and it did. So im at a stopping point now. Dont know if the fuel injectors would be clogged? Need help. I also pulled off the fuel line that came from the fuel filter to the fuel rail and stuck it in a 2 litter bottle and didnt get any fuel when i started it, so thats why i thought it would the fuel pump. Any help would be great.

do you hear your fuel pump prime when you turn your key on? If not, it is probably your main relay not working. Also, you said you pulled out your fuel pump to see if it was working or not, what did you do to ensure it was?

I pulled it out to make sure it was running, and it was. I also changed out the main relay, forgot to add that.

you can stilll get codes, without your cel on. Do you know how to check codes? If not, here is how you do it. Turn your key on, pull up your carpet under the glove box. You will see a big metal plate, with a little hole in it. If you have any codes, there will be a little red light blinking in that hole. Here is how you tell what codes they are. Every fast flash is counted as one, every long flash is counted by 10. so if you have one long, and 4 short ones, that would be a code 14. I hope this helps ya, if you do have codes, jot down what they are, and come back here, and tell what they are, and we will help ya out.

So how did you verify that the pump was working? Take it out and connect it to 12v?

Did you try seeing if it would run when hooked up OEM to the plug, and then turn the key to the on position?

Sounds to me like a couple of things to look at... if the pump runs when you hook it up to 12v, but when installed and in the car, it either doesn't run, or does not deliver fuel but runs....

If it runs, but does not deliver fuel, see if the wiring at the pump has been tampered with, and if so, maybe try reversing the wires... sounds dumb, but i've had a couple of customers in the past install aftermarket pumps, and somehow cross up the wires...

if it doesn't run, then check the fuses and main relay and junk...

Anyway, thats where i'd start...

Its the OEM fuel pump, i changed out the fuel filter, and i pulled out of the gas tank and rehooked to power and turned the key on. Dont know if it is taking any suction though. Another thing i did, i removed the line to the fuel rail from the fuel filter and stuck it in a soda bottle, then turned over the key and got no fuel there so thats why i thought it was the pump.

Thanks for all the help guys hopefully i will get this figured out.

If the pump is running, and not delivering fuel, you may just want to get a new pump and give it a go... the internals could be degraded to the point where the armature in the motor is spinning, but there is no way for it to actually pump the fuel.... but i'd STILL verify that the positive is going to the positive, and neg to neg... it sounds dumb, but... well... i've seen dumber.

Good luck!
