I Just wanted to say hello. I purchased my childhood dream car, a very clean 91 CRX Si. I actually bought it in 2019 and spent a year restoring it. It wasn't until the end of 2020, that I finally got it to where I wanted to mechanically except for a paint job. That was going to be my next project, but then I came across a D-Series JRSC and suddenly my world got turned upside down. The Eaton M45 supercharger is the same as I had on my R53 MINI Cooper which had a beautiful whine and was such fun to drive. My other childhood dream car was a Supercharged 1988 Toyota MR2. I already acquired and restored that and it appeared on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage.

Here is a pic of my two cars in front of my shop. That's my son behind the CRX.

The CRX still needs paint work but it's taking a backseat as I rebuild and install my supercharger.

I figured it was time to make an update! I’ve been posting mostly on D-Series. I got my JRSC installed after I made sure my engine compression was healthy and replacing my timing belt, water pump, alternator, ac compressor, performing a valve job. I put the car to stock and got it smogged since I’m in California and need smog every 2 years. Then I installed the SC with larger injectors and a chipped OBD 0 ECU.

Since my last post, it turns out I made a bunch of errors and had to take my SC out for more work. But as of today, my car is running smoothly with the JRSC! I couldn’t be happier! I’m still working on the tune but for now she’s running pretty well on the 450cc injectors and a base tune with Turbo Edit. Looks like the repainting project will begin in a couple months now!
