1. 50k-75k miles you get a free emissions inspection and any repairs or replacements are done FOR FREE.

2. 75k - 150k miles you get another free emissions inspection, etc. BUT YOU ALSO GET NEW SPARK PLUGS, IGNITION WIRES, DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTER, AND OIL CHANGE FOR FREE !!!!!! (uber-hot)

3. Emissions warranty has been extended to 14 years

4. IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE EMMISIONS PARTS/REPAIRS YOU CAN GET REIMBURSED!!!!

You get one service between 50k and 75k miles, and one more service between 75k and 150k miles. ie., you can't go back year after year looking for free new parts, and it only affects certain models, but the exact ones were not disclosed. I guess if you have any 95-97 Hondas, a call to your local dealer is in order.

The 14-year emissions warranty is transferable to all subsequent owners.

I got a letter like that from honda when I had my 96 civic hatch. Never went in because the car had like 180 k. mi.

That freakin figures. I spent a lot of money on my 95 Civic years ago for emissions crap. I bought all that stuff and paid for install. Geez.
