Hey guys i dont know much about the whole cam shaft and adjustable cam gear thing but i was just wondering how much better would my rex do if i was to put an adjustable cam gear using the stock camshaft on my d16a6 si?????

You don't really need it on a stock motor. It's just for adjusting the cam timing, setups with hybrid block/head combinations need it (mini-me, LS/VTEC etc). It does look bling though...

If its a stock cam on a stock block, don't waste the $100.

If that be the case my I suggest the exospeed SR-909.

....and at $200 its a great buy considering the difference.
I have checked around and noted that for around $300-315 you could get a exospeed cam and an AEM adjustable cam gear.
Some people may scoff,but thats a nice little upgrade for $300.
