I can get a walbro 255, it says that they would be fine on other forums?

Would that make a difference being a 255

Also mechanic said something about an ignition switch but not sure what that would mean

255 is a bit much, would need to change the FPR to bypass enough fuel.

I use a 255 with aftermarket FPR. Ignition switch is available at most parts retailers. It's not hard to replace on the CRX. 1989 HONDA CRX 1.6L L4 Ignition Starter Switch | RockAuto

My guess is that the switch is the same. The cylinder is seperate on the CRX.
