Ouch!

PIN-IN CRASH INJURES ONE: One person was seriously injured in a head-on collision Wednesday afternoon on Standiford Avenue, slightly east of Carver Road, the Modesto Police Department reported. The crash, which involved a Mercury Cougar and Honda CRX, occurred about 3:35 p.m. officer Rick Applegate said. A passenger in one vehicle was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with injuries that appeared to include a broken hip and collapsed lung, police reported. The wreck backed up traffic along Standiford until police could investigate and crews could move the vehicles. Names of the people involved were not available Wednesday night. Above, Modesto Fire Department firefighters inspect the wrecked Honda.

it may have had too many apc stickers. they were at 1000whp before they knew it. then the flux capiciter malmunctioned and mutilated the car.
