Sup guys. havent been postin gmuch this week because Ive been laid up on the couch with my leg all messed up. I crashed my new civic hatch into a wall at like 15mph, pu tmy knee right through the dash. ARGH!

now i have no car again. I got to see if i can even fix this thing. It did some crazy damage. Anyone know a good place to find a VIS CF hood? I need USDM fit, SIR style. I got a guy coming over today to look at the raiator support to see if its replaceable. Any quick rules of thumb on this?

Sorry for just ocmlaining here, I needed to vent somewhere. My frickin Hasport mounts just showed up today!

That sucks dude, I know how you feel. I crashed my EF civic at a 90 degree angle into an 05 Toyota Camry at almost 55 miles per hour. My knee also went into the steering colomn I think. Was outta commision for almost a month. Couldnt walk for 2 weeks. Really hope you can fix your car!!

thanks guys. 15 and 55 is a big difference! what I cant belive is the amount of damage done to the car. my buddies carrie dme out to assess the damage as they tore it all apart. man, stone walls are tough.

let this be a lesson to nott try and move your car BEFORE you bleed your brakes!

its all good man i just blew my clutch and my reserve i just found out is blown just as bad so now im going to be down my bank acount for the labor and a new clutch...... im pritty mad i just got all my check engine lights off and my heat working and everything like my interior put back in it hasnt been a good day for me......

Dayum man, that sucks! So there was no throwing it into 1st gear, or crashing reverse? well, i guess there was a lot of things that 'could' have been done, but the past is past... The most important thing is that you are ok. I've seen some bad injuries happen at very slow speeds.

Hope you find a good new car. BoostX was just selling a pristine CRX not too long ago, but it went to a new home in Ohio.

it all happened so fast.....since i like you guys ill tell you wha ti did so youll all laugh at me.

i tried to jam it in reverse, but i couldnt ge tit in so then i cut the car off and threw it into first........but me being dumb i left teh car in the ON position and it started right back up!

and then i ran out of time.

got all the broken stuff off today, the passenger frame rail is buckled, and the crossmember is twisted.

whats the deal with this civic? i have a lead on a 90 barbados yelllow si im gonna follow up on tomorrow if i can find a chauffe rto cart my broken ass around.

Its just a civic thats been parked out in front of my shop for a couple of months that my technician bought before he bought that nice y49 a few weeks ago...

I don't know much about it other than he is picky as heck about what he buys, and he bought it as a project, but decided on the crx instead. The civic is nice and clean. I'll get more info about it tomorrow if you're serious about wanting more info, and i'll get some pics... just let me know.

ya, its an EF... 1988 i think. he bought it to make an auto-x car out of it, and i know he looked it over 100%, and wouldn't buy it if it had anything major wrong with it. The body is basically perfect from what i've seen, except for a small section of the front bumper, but thats easily fixed.

I'll grab some pics and info tomorrow for ya.
