Auto Techniques Reveiw Please

well as some people might now......prolly not tho lol, me and neil (desert cactus rhd crx) started a new car club called Auto Techniques, i have been messing around with the website that Tom so graciously hooked us up with (btw i highly recommend that you use his web sercive if you are interested in starting a web site, great guy to deal with)

i just want to know what everyone thinks of the site, any critiques or anything feedback would be awsome

btw does anyone know how to change the picture at the top so that i can put our logo on it?

Pretty standard fare

Make sure you get the mod for PhpBB to auto-resize images. A couple of those pics you posted are wayyy huge...(unless you like that sort of thing)

Change the theme's image to your own logo (check in the theme's images directory for "logo.png" or something of the sort)

Matter of fact, I'm not a big fan of the default theme chosen...but if that's your thing, it's your site.

overall, not bad atall.

ya its just a local thing its not going to be a mass site like this one lol

as for the logo, do i just open that one up and edit it and reload it through ftp or do i create a new one and replace it?

It's up to you. I'd make a backup copy of it first. Then open it in Photoshop (or Gimp, or whatever) and edit it. Then just upload it and over-write the old one. Easy as that.

Also, I just modified the home page a little and added a link to the forums for you. Just until you get your own home page setup.

ok the logo is up but its gausey as hell........ i need to download gimp again paint sucks ass like a mofo, i had to use it to save it as a gif b/c for somereason photo impressions doesn't give you the option

is there any good free html editors?

The only thing I currently have up (because I am not that smart) is the yahoo group about my CRX club.

The forum looks really nice. My sister is left just yesterday to move to Wisconsin. I might join because I may go visit one day.

Website looks decent, you guys need some more content on there... but I assume thats coming as the club grows
