I'm going to be picking up an autopower 4-point bar for someone this weekend. I'm told it comes apart, but I don't know how. Can someone tell me? I'm debating whether to take my CRX or my girlfriend's new '07 Saab 93 Aero (new like has 120 miles on it!). We will bring a passenger and a dog if we have her car, not with mine. I was initially planning on taking the CRX, worst case I could put the bar into my car as it's supposed to mount until I got home. It's going to be a bit of a trip, it's out in Rochester.

Scott, hit me on AIM, I'll be going right through...

I think its just the horizontal bar that unbolts on those. i saw a similat bar in a crx last weekend. I'm pretty sure its not going into that Saab, I think you'd have to put it in place in the crx. but who knows, I've got confidence that you'll able to make it fit....somehow. Just be sure to take pictures!

Matt don't worry, I'm not driving all that way and coming back empty handed. It's starting to look like we will take the CRX, I'm going to measure my car where the bar would go, and see if it would work in the Saab. I'm going to be very liberal with the tape to make SURE it will fit. Liz isn't too excited about taking the CRX, since her car is brand new, but I would rather have a fun drive than be lulled to sleep...

Maybe I can give Scott a little preview of his SOHC VTEC motor!
