B16 injector clips on A6?

1264 Views 6 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  george34
I was wondering if b16 injector clips will work on an A6? I was playing around with my brother B16 wire harness and the clips did not want to snap into place. They would slid onto the injectir though. I looked at my crx and the injector clips have a piece of metal(maybe spring) around the bottum of the clips. The B16's did not have this piece of metal. I was wondering if I need the Si injector clips or if I need to buy the metal pieces for the B16's injector clips?

If it matters this is for a MPFI to DPFI engine swap.

You should be able to get the little piece of metal and use the injector clips.
OBD0 Injector plugs, they are all the same on the hondas.
OBD1 plugs are different.
OBD2 plugs are the best in my books, very easy to go on and off, no metal clip.
What is the name of the that metal piece? I can not find the injector clips on hondaautomotiveparts.com

Thanks for the help.

Your honda dealership should understand 'injector clip' as the term. But if you don't have a local one, and you have a junk yard, go to any honda/acura OBD0 and cut an injector plug off of it, pocket it, and walk out.
you will be fine. I used an A6 harness on my b16swap with no problem.

Im also using an obd-0 A6 harness with all obd-0 plugs on an obd-1 h22.
I will check out a junkyard on the way to the honda dealer. That would be really nice if the junkyard had some but if I remember there is only two DX there.
