Whats the ft/lbs on the stock mains?

honda service manual for 94 gsr b18c1 states:

main bearing cap bolts. 56 ft. lbs
apply engine oil to the bolt threads and washer.
note: after torquing bolts turn crankshaft to check for binding

the gsr motor as a bearing cap bridge and the bolts that hold that down are torqued to 49 ft lbs

im assuming that the torque spec would be the same or simmilar

err i did them at 60 ft/lbs? is that really bad?

did you mean to say shouldnt? ill just retorque it to 56 when i reassemble the engine again.

Just back them off and retorque them.Your fine...

did you plastigage it first?
do you know if it is all in specs

i platigaged with the green ones that measure from .001- .003 and numbers 2,4,5 were all .0015 and 1 was .002 and number 3 which is the one that i dont believe is within spec is .001. Not enough clearance? but im gonna re platigage with 56 ft/lbs and see what i get.
