It sounds like your problem is inside the engine. Did you do a compression test? Try that and report back. Also, if you get a low compression reading, be sure to add some heavy-weight oil to the cylinder (MTF or similar) and run it again, this way you know where you're losing compression (or at least whether or not your valves are sealing).
B18 Revving Problem
OKay so here's the deal
The B18a Swap in my Rex wont rev past 5 grand in neutral. I haven't tested it in gear yet though, but I will tomorrow.
The car burns ALOT of oil, about a quart for every few gallons of gas i put in, but could that cause the engine to not rev high?
I just replaced the ignitor, so it's not that. Could it be the ECU?
