I've been eyeing the Odyssey PC680 for a while now. Stefano likes them too, and we plan to move his battery to the trunk/cargo container. A friend of mine running some serious electronics in his car wants to buy my yellow top, so I figure it's a good time to sell that an upgrade. Stefano and I were talking about trying to get a group buy price on it, would anyone here be interested? Normally they sell for 85 bucks or so, battery mart gives $10 off if you get 10 or more. I think if we got a bunch of people together we might be able to score a good deal. I wouldn't recommend it if you're running a lot of electronics/stereo stuff. It's a nice small battery that can go below the stock location or in the cargo container easily. I also saw a cool mod on HT where a guy made a holder for it in his passenger side bumper, where the CAI usually goes.

Just FYI I bought this battery recently. Haven't started the car in cold weather with it yet, but it's done just fine. I got the black powdercoated mounting bracket for it and it's mounted in the cargo compartment. I still need to buy or borrow a dremel or something to cut away a little of the plastic to make room for the terminals (it's kinda crooked and ghetto-rigged right now, haha) so I can mount it permanently.

The battery really is surprisingly TINY when you first see it, although it is heavier than it looks. Don't forget to order the screw-in terminals and be careful, some terminal clamps don't like to fit on those (one of the two is slightly larger and I had to put the "positive" terminal clamp that I bought (with places to put power wire, etc.) onto the negative and buy a different positive.

If you woulda announced this a month or two ago, I woulda been in! But I encourage people who have been considering one of these to get in on a good deal.

So we will all be wanting the terminals too then. Ryan, I'd like to see a pic of the bracket if you have one. Maybe we could all get a deal on a package, like the battery, bracket and terminals, maybe some people will want a fuse and some 2/4 gauge wire?

http://www.odysseybatteries.com/accessories/pc680hd.htm has a pic of the brushed aluminum bracket (it's really more of a hold-down box, since it wraps nicely around the battery) and a link to the one I got with the matte black finish.[/url]
Thats a a very cool mounting bracket. I have one mounted kind of below where the battery was, down a level? I have just a bracket I made. It passes inspection for the drags but this is a much better holder.
What I've noticed is that it does not hold a charge very long when inactive. Since my CRX is not a daily driver, and when its bad out I dont use it, it has gone dead on me after about 2 weeks even with the terminal taken off.
