Dude, give me a week or 2. I just got back to working...let me pay some of the bills that piled up, then I'll start making it.

I'll tell you all what, if anyone wants some of my mediocre jerky, just PM me and Ill send you my address so I can get some $ to buy the meat/supplies to get er done.

I only have the one smoker, and only 1 day a week that I can make it, so quantities will be limited till I buy another smoker.

I'm working 6 days/nights a week, leaving little time for anything else, but how can I deny such a heartfelt plea?

I need the breasts of duck or goose.
I just salt and pepper the slices (about 1/4") then smoke em up.

Why couldnt I.
I ship fedex or UPS...you pay shipping.
I sent some to john via fedex and the dogs didnt eat it...well, maybe they did after he got it...lol

He could ship it to me with some newspapers or something else and just leave the meat of the Customs form. We get so much stuff through the mail they don't even bother. I shipped alot of food from korea for my wife. I'll only take a small cut as a jerky tax. Nah just kidding :twisted:

Not that you really are intending to do this but, in case it happens, you better check local game laws. Seriously, you can't take game with a vehicle. In most states, even if it is an accident or is going to go to waste, it's illegal. The DNR guys will usually come out and take the animal and have it butchered, but it's not legal for you to do it yourself.

Nah, I wouldn't. I don't think I could skin and gut an animal unless I really needed to. Nor could I purposefully kill something, unless I was intending to eat it, or it was going to kill me first.

Funny story though. I saw these two guys pulled over in the center median one day on a 6 lane highway. They were dragging a doe behind them up the shoulder to a white rusted out Mazda 323. I don't know how they were planning on taking that thing in... it was bigger than the damn car, lol.
