Hey hows it goin im a new member, I have been a member for a couple months and have just read on build threads. I just swapped a b16a into my 88 crx i order an chassis harness from a fellow crxxommunity fellow and i sent the money and its been a week and a half and have heard nothing from him besides dang man that thang aint there yet and now when i try to get ahold of him he wont anwser, so heres my question anyone ever done business with thompsonrx7? I was wondering if anyone knows him and if he is reliable or if i got ripped off?

Never dealt with the guy (thompsonrx7) but it blows that a noob who thought he could trust someone on a small, close knit group like CRX Community got ripped off. My rule was always never buy or sell to anyone that didn't post alot but shadowcrx kind of ruined that theory........

I was wondering that myself? I understand the mods here are reluctant to start banning people (after another site we are all familiar with went so nutso banning people) but it sounds like if anyone deserves it, this guy does.

Well he hasn't posted in a while, so it's hardly necessary. People here would tear him apart immediately. :twisted: I'll ask the admins if we can get him IP banned though.

I'm sorry to say it, but anyone with any sections of brain left can get past an IP ban... and if they are on AOL for instance (or any other provider like that), then an IP ban will do absolutely nothing.

The best and only thing we can do, is to watch the forums, and help look out for our fellow community members.

Besides, banning leads to "out of site, out of mind" (pun intended), and thats exactly what he wants, i'm sure.

Just keep your eyes open, and help each other out.
