Finally......bought my wife a new (used) vehicle. So my CRX is now semi retired from a daily driver to fair weather, weekend car. It's never missed a beat in the 13+ years I've driven it daily so I felt it deserved a rest. Today's the perfect first day for it's retirement, it's pouring rain. It's sitting nice and dry in the garage[/i]

Hooray! I remember when I bought a '97 civic for my wife to drive about 4 years ago so my CRX could retire to being a fair weather car after 11 years as DD and another 3 as "2nd car".

How are you not gonna tell us what the new (used) car is?? :)
Well....besides the getting a newer car, my wife got a new job. She's a civil engineer and her new job includes hauling clients to job sites so she needs room. (Don't worry she gets paid $$$ per mile). So we bought...'04 Toyota Sequoia. I know gas guzzling SUV but it works for what she needs.

jfrolang, thanks.....
