That is just sickening. . . . My perents were never really that well to do growing up and they tried there hardest to get me as much as they could. . . . And i was thankful for it. . . . mabye not as much as I should have been looking back now. . . . But WOW That girl needs slapped. . . .
bunch of spoiled little ritchie riches used to getting what ever they want. . . . . . parents are never around to spend time with them growing up and try to buy there love with money. . . . . Problem with this type of approach though is. . .That once you start showing affection with $$$ it eventually gets taken for granted. . and then every little thing.. . . like the color of a car. . .. becomes a huge deal . .. . i would love to see this girl in 15 or 20 years when she flunks out of college and has to work min wage to support her and her baby's and is struggling to make ends meet. . . .and TRYING to save up enough to buy some sort of runnign transportation. . . . .She will look back on this day. . . .and hopefully feel very very bad . . .

damn......i was happy my dad sold me his car for $300....and its rusted to crap, had around 290,000miles when i got it, and most important of all......it was a crx 
....and mines red too!!!!.....i told the old man i needed a black car with spinners but he just flipped me off and told me to go get him a beer haha.....I love my old man.......cars still running strong

My wife was watching that show and called me into to watch. Seems some spoiled girl got a Lexus convertible and demanded her parents to take it back because *gasp* it was used with like 7500 miles on it. Her grandmother agreed with her saying it probably wasn't safe because it was an "old" car (it was one year old). It's really disgusting just how spoiled some of these kids are.toxiclows said:

When i buy my first CRX, i was working at 8$ / Hours (and here with the taxes it like 6,5$ / Hours). I was student, i was working 20 hours by week and i was so pround that i have buy my own CRX ...
I didn't have money to put on it ... to store it during winter but ... i got my CRX!
When i see that, i always remember that money doesn't give "brain"

I worked all summer for my uncle to afford my first CRX. And now I am in the army and I am working full time on the weekends and full time in school during the week to make the money to finish my car! I am also going away for summer training this summer and will only get 2 weeks off. However I am getting paid allot and once I am done will be able to do almost anything to my car

17 years old and in high school my parents have enough money that they could certainly help me get a better car. heck they could have easily given me my first car but they didnt. I honestly am one of only about 5 kids in my grade who i know actually paid for their car on their own. right now i have to hold up my grades and work part time for freaking burger king. the job sucks but i know i cant quit cuz mommy and daddy dont give me crap even though they can. I'ts annoying sometimes but i know it will make me a better preson and all that good junk. working on minimum wage (just passed the law to have it raised and guess what....doesnt count for minor aka ME) i have a little over 1k saved for my next car and some spending money in my wallet my dad got me jumper cables and pizza for my 17th B-day back in november, and that part kinda made me mad......but all the other stuff like making me pay for the crx......is why he's one hell of a dad.......it can be hard but when i have enough money saved up to by my next car, I'll know it's mine and not my dads......I'll know i can do what ever i want with it.......and I'll be proud as crap to say that i earned that car!

The only thing my parent ever got me that was anything except clothes, spare cash when I REALLY needed it, and regular parent to kids stuff, was my first car. They *sold* it to me for 500$, after they spent 2000$ buying it and put new tires on it. Basically, I bought brand new tires and the car was included...
It was my 90 Hatch, it had no rust, was stock and automatic with just turned over 200000kms. I of course, couldn't afford to take care of it, rusted up, engine died... I was young and foolish. The only other thing my parents ever really did for me, was cosign a school loan so I could go to college. Other then that, I earned what I have.
