i know this has nothing to do with crx's so thats why i'm posting it here. Has anyone ever been to the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. I'm going this year and just trying to get an idea on what to expect.

That right there sounds like the perfect vacation,lol naw I'm thinking with it being pretty much legal there that they could just go crazy. I know that the whole event is pretty much a whole buch of people, buisnesses and everything inbetween, bring there best and compete. It cost 200 for a judges pass to participate in choosing the best :lol: I dont really think my vote is going to count for much tho if i dont make it past the first coffee shop :shock:

I think that most of the problems would be solved by allowing it for persons over 21. Prohibition of alcohol was supposed to have taught us that legalization is far less of a drain on society than trying to eliminate it.

Of course, I don't think it would work for every drug, some of them are just far too dangerous to your health. In those cases, decriminalization and ramped up rehab programs would suffice. Treat them as health issues, instead of just throwing people in jail.

As a matter of fact, profits from marijuana sales (and cocaine and heroin) at times go to support the enemies of my country. The Taliban, for instance, dealt quite extensively in heroin. The leftist Shining Path grow coca and marijuana. The Mexican marijuana concerns have been known to put hits out on specific cops who work drug interdiction in California.

Plenty of the high-quality marijuana in the US is grown either domestically or in Canada...the cheapest bulk crap comes from Mexico, etc., but if you're buying decent product, you can pretty much rest assured that you're not "supporting the Taliban" or any other ememy of the US, you're more than likely supporting a guy with a grow-op in his basement or some hippes from British Colombia.

the way i see it, the reason herb's not legalized is cause the government can't regulate/tax it... Basically... lets see you grow a beer in your backyard :wink:
