The biggest problem I have with the site, is that someone with nothing but nasty chrome wheels will have a 5-star rating, and then the truly nice rides get shunned.

I don't have a page there, but I think it's a cool way to show off your car to fellow enthusiasts -- even if the site itself isn't that great, community-wise (it really shows you how bad people's taste is as a whole, like jfro was getting at), it's still awfully cool to be able to post the URL on sites like this so people can check out your car in-depth. I like being able to pick pretty much any model of car ever made, down to the exact year of production, and imediately be able to see how people customize and modify them, something that used to be a time-consuming web search based process that wasn't even sure to garner many results. For that, it's fantastic, so it overshadows by far the fact that a clean, well-built ride might get more "stars" than a car with chrome 20s and a cheap bodykit and overszed wing slapped on it.

Yeah I don't blame you. If it was only pictures of the engine/body I guess it would be okay but if you show pics of head units/speakers etc that could make you a target of theft.
