my check engine light has been comming on after i drive for about 5 mintues now for a cuople datys but when i turn off the car then turn it back on its fine until about 5 minutes it comes back on can anyone help?

Have you checked to see what code you're getting when the CEL comes on? Pull the carpet up in the passenger footwell and count the blinks on the ECU.

yea i counted 12 when the light was on

A code 12 is EGR. Make sure it's not clogged up, and if you have to replace the valve.

Exhaust gas recirculation. Do you know where to look for it?

you're welcome, its kinda hard to see but it prints out like a normal page. it has been pretty valuble to me...makes me look smart when people bring theyre honda to me.
