I just get my new 90 CRX SI, but it has no shifter knob. I was wondering what you guys think is the best choice for one? It has been short shifted so the shifting is tight and I will need good control. I was thinking of just a simple ball shifter but not to sure?
SHould I go for the stock knob or a ball?

Well the link doesn't work.

If you have a short shifter, a knob with some weight to it will facilitate easier shifting. I like the Skunk2 shift knob. link

Yea I accualy kinda like the look of that knob you posted. Looks like it would look better and give me a better grip.

Congrats on finally getting the car!

I don't really know too much about the weight of the shifter, but I would look for something that is comfortable in the hand.

I replaced my OEM one because the lettering was wearing off. I bought one of the ebay special "type R" ones. The only thing I don't like about it is that its too cold in the winter (easy fix, she stays in the garage ) and it's also too warm in the summer.

I have a B&M T-Grip handle. Its nice because your hand is in a natural position. It also has weight, which makes shifting a breeze.

And I am starting to rethink which shifter I should get because I live in Canada... Its -40 in the winter and +40 in the summer, so I need something that will work well in both climates...

Hate the feel of steel shifter knobs.
Just find a stock knob from an Integra GSR. Love the feel of those.

def. I had an ITR knob on my car for awhile and in the hot sun baking all day, there were many times i burnt the heck out of my hand grabbing it!
