Civic Si Sedan

It looks like Honda is going to debut the 2007 Civic Si Sedan tomorrow, something that I think is way overdue. I'm psyched, I might even buy one :D

Seriously though I am looking for a new car. I want to be able to garage the CRX and work on it at my leisure, instead of driving it everyday. I definitely want something with at least 4 doors. I was previously eyeing a 2007 Fit, but now I guess I'll have to test-drive an Si Sedan and see if I can handle the payments and insurance without ruining my budget. (and still leave enough for my CRX and other hobbies)

Wow, i'm still psyched about the '06 model. Wonder whats different for '07. I definatly say look into it. I love the new design. I here ya on the sedan. I've had to resort to taking people in the back of my CRX. A couple more seats are always a good thing.
Nah.... screw other people... they aren't making your car payments... :p LoL.. j/k ;)

Dunno, if i had to buy a family car, i could think of a few other family (read: 4-door) cars i'd rather have than the Civic... but hopefully it'll look nice. A buddy of mine just bought an evo... thats a pretty sweet car. FoDo, and ready to gO! lol

If I wanted to spend in the Evo's price range, I'd probably get a TSX. And I don't really want a car that rides as hard as my CRX.
Civic Si with four doors? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I'm with you, I wanted the Civic Si to be a hatchback forever. But times and markets change. I had a similar feeling when the 1999 Civic Si debuted.

Thing is, Honda can't just ignore the success of similar 4-door pocket rockets, like the Sentra SE-R Spec V, Corolla XR-S, Lancer EVO VIII, Impreza WRX STi, etc. And the Si will still be available as a coupe, so it's not an all-or-nothing deal. Some people desire performance while maintaining a practical car, and more choices never hurt anybody.
You'd take a TSX over an EVO Jfro? I'm disappointed in you my friend.
The new Si is too little too late for me. I will look elsewhere for a new import. Get rid of the STRUTS!
I don't mind it being a coupe, my stepdad has a 2000 Si and I like it a lot. I don't like it being a sedan, it's almost as bad as automatic.

I'm past the days of wanting the quickest thing on wheels, and I don't think I'd want to put up with an EVO on the daily. Besides, the interior of an EVO has nothing on a TSX :p
The 2007 Civic Si Sedan 'Concept' debuted at the Chicago Show today at 3pm cst.

Click here for some pics and analysis.

It's pretty much as I expected, but the spoiler does not look very good and they're still using the ugly sedan front bumper. I was hoping for a coupe-style front bumper with the brake ducts.

 I would rock that.

I'd rip the wing off, then drive it to the ground
