It would suck anyway. Too many safety restrictions have been made. I would be more interested in them building reproductions of the 88-91 chassis. A complete unmolested shell to transfer all your goods too. I would be willing to pay 2-3K for a virgin shell, hell they can even keep the pass engine mount bracket. Also they should reproduce the exclusive, and VT interior parts in LHD. If Honda would do that I would take back all the bad things I often say about them.zerocool1014a said:we need a new crx... i wonder how many people would have to sign a petition or something to get honda to build a new one... *shrugs* thats pretty hott tho.. but i would want a hatch![]()
Agreed.jfrolang said:I'm gonna go off on a rant here, but I hate that Honda pulled the Civic hatch from the US. They say it's because the 7th gen hatch (EP3) didn't sell, but it's clear and obvious why it didn't. It would have sold better if it wasn't so soft on performance, and it doesn't help that the hatch was only available as an Si. If there had been a hatch dx, like there's supposed to be, and a better engine in the Si, it would have sold better. But as it is, nobody looking for performance was interested in it, and nobody looking for low-cost utility was interested in it. The latter crowd was surely turned off by the lack of an auto trans as well.
Dealers are closed on Sundays.SIred91 said:If they made a 3 door Fit, I would buy it TOMORROW.
The Integra is dead, everywhere. There are no 2007s and there won't be any more anywhere; definitely not in the US. Even in the unlikely scenario that a new Integra was built and exported to the US, Acura would not call it Integra, and it would look nothing like that Civic.mithuth said:The video link Civic Type R will probably become the Integra in the US
That CTR hatch (JDM only) is a current gen Civic. It is not a next gen US Civic. By then (2011) it will be far too old to be competitive, Honda will have a new Civic hatch in Europe and Japan, and American Honda still won't sell a Civic hatch in the US.mithuth said:...and the Hatch pics in the second one will probably be the next gen Civic Si.
An EP3 is a 3-door Civic, not a Fit. I don't know where you got this crazy idea. There were 5-door versions of the EP3 sold in other countries, right alongside the Fit/Jazz. I already explained why people didn't like the US-spec EP3, it alienated performance buyers and economy buyers.mithuth said:As for a 3 door Fit; the EP3 is the 3 door Fit, and all most of you ppl did was talk (crap) about it.
The next gen Integra is being produces in the Ohio Plant, next to the 2008 CRX :twisted:jfrolang said:I think you've been out of the game too long man. :?

Sorry to be harsh dude, but these things have to be squashed before we hear rumors about "the next gen Integra."
