I know at one time or another we all had some sort of "rice" on our cars, regardless of what kind of car we had.

Deep down i know some of us still like some of those items. If so what are/were they?

For me, i hate to admit it, on the right color car, i still like clear tail lights.

When I got my car, the first thing I did was buy underglow for it . I also put a pair of those crappy fiberglass fenders on. Both are still on my car but the underglow has been converted to walking lights so they only turn on when you open the door. I kinda like it. The fiberglass fenders are comming off very soon when I;m finished with my engine rebuild. Already got a fresh pair of OEM ones. I'll admit that I had rice intentions when I first got my car.

I am currently running the obligatory fart can. It came welded to the 3 inch exhaust that i got with my b18 swap parts car. it sounded perfect on that car with a stock engine. I put the system on my red car. with the high compression . . .and it is louder than all get out. . . . defiantly rice

also I am still running the big blinging 17 inch wheels chrome and all. .
definatly rice as well . . . .I just cant afford a set of 15's at the moment and its hard to get someone to trade you rotas for your heavy rollers.

my s10 i put clear tail lights in.

my cavalier convertable i painted the interior up red and yellow. . . looked like a burger joint in there. .

the rice is slowly leaving though.

itts hard to make fun of people for having riced up stock rides when your slightly built crx had some of the same ricer goodies. .

Im and old man, and a closet ricer. I LOVE Lambo doors for the sheer insanity. My old car had the red painted dash surround and stuff.

When it comes down to it, I really like stock and clean, but I like underglow, I like polished wheels, and I like Lambo doors. I

I have those black housing "halo" lights. But I disconected the "halos". Thought it was too wanna be bmw. I also have black corners and clear bumper lights.
But I like how it looks now. So it does not matter what others think about it.

On my '93 hatch i once had clear tails & clear "OEM style" corner lights, both had white bulbs for the turn signals.

Oh, well the bike is a whole different story! From the spinna's to the spash guards, and the pom pom handle bars, that thing is RICE all the way!

Not from a Crx, nor do i think it is ricey, but you mentioned gauges and it reminded me of this sweet custom made gauge cluster that a guy that i know has. It is for use in the 5th gen Civic, made from the skeleton of a 5th gen cluster.

I had a custom exhaust made with a Magnaflow cannon... I had to leave for a class so I didn't find out about the slight fitment issue caused by the sharp bend needed to get it to fit where I told him to put it. I came back to the shop to pick up my car, and almost cried... It stayed on there for a while.

That tip was so large and stuck out so far, the car fell off the jacks in my friend's garage and the tip punched through the door

Then, I tripped over it so out came the hacksaw :twisted:

Do you have pics. Ive really be throwing the idea around for awhile now.

I started out wanting to Rice the car out, but with having no money (thank god) and growing up, the car was saved and is turning out to be a good looking car.

SPA gauges rock. and yes, they are very expensive. and the furthest thing from rice. its completely functional, very accurate and very high quality.

for me, my first crx was ridden with 17" white rims, no lowering. black carbon altezza taillights, red painted interior, projector headlights. luckily i crashed it into a guardrail, and realize it was the error of my ways. was probably gods way of punishing me for ruining it.
