I realize this is kind of vague, but I'll post a pic tomorrow. Anyway, I've got a 90 LS in the rex (yes, the same one that's for sale in the classifieds  ), and I sprung a coolant leak in a short little hose that attaches to the bottom of the intake manifold/throttle body. It's only about 3 inches long, but I was wondering if anybody would happen to know what size diameter it is? Yeah, I could take it off and find out, but that is going to require hacking it up, because the bottom clamp is turned around backward, and I'll have to ruin the hose to get behind it. It would just be easier for me if someone happened to know off hand.

5/16 it is. the problem I have now is that the hose is kinked a bit on the lower part because the metal tubes it goes over are so long that it can't flex that far. I *think* that it's not completely closed off, but obviously there's not much of a way to tell. the question now is, what's the worst that could happen if the hose is in fact not letting anything through? surely that would depend mostly on what it's cooling (tb?). I just reeaally don't want to break down on the interstate 4 hours from my house.

I shoulda used the full 1ft length and just looped it around.
