I have a 90 b18a1 engine in my crx. . . .it is mostly stock 500 miles ago i tore it all down and replaced the rod bearings, put 93 delsol SI b16 pistons in it ( domed) rings, honed the cyls. port matched the intake and exhaust ports and just did some basic cleanup of the ports. nothing heavy. . Oh and there is an aluminum flywheel on it. ..

Running the ls 5 speed tranny. in a 90 Hf. Stock mapped pr4 ecu.. .

QUESTION IS.

A friend is selling his adj fuel pressure regulator and cams. .. for a good deal

I am really thinking about buying this stuff. . just wondering what kind of performance gain i can expect. . . I have rode in his teg that they are in but it is an auto and not a crx. . and i have never drove my crx at the time i rode in this car. ..

Anyone familiar with this cam. . .and what can i expect from it. . .I see the dyno results . .and all just wondering if it would be worth buying. . it sin good shape and had about 500 laps on it. . .at the track. . ..( 125 miles)

cam is a Crower. . here are the specs..

62403-2

and here are the stock specs

Stock Specs from B18B 234 / 236 194 / 196 395 / 380

here is a link to thewre page with the cam on it. it is the 62403-2

I don't have that one, but I have the Stage 2 NA for the Y8 in my CRX. It was a noticable difference for me, and the damn thing wouldn't idle when I put it in (didn't expect THAT from a stage 2!). I noticed a lot more difference on the top end, and with the Y8 they recommend the head package so you can rev higher and take advantage of the whole cam up to 8000+ RPM.

yeah the guy that has these said that his rumbled like a drag car with a huge cam in it for the first few minutes and then straightened out. . . they say on the crower site that this is as big as you can go without ECU mods. . . I take this to mean that the stock pr4 map will enrichen enough up to the point to feed additional fuel for the extra large breath's that this cam will let my engine breathe. ? I will be adding the ajd fuel pressure reg. and cranking it up just a little more than stock pressure to make sure that there is adequate fuel there. .. This is the setup he was running. . . . it is the one that you cut your stock one and add this to the top of it and you can ajd the pressure then. .. we cranked it up just a little. . . .

might go for it. . .still waiting on him to come up with a final price..
