I have the intake snorkel removed, DC headers.
At least your crx doesnt burn oil....

white smoke isnt oil my freind.
Oil is either black or blue smoke.

hmmm or maybe that burning smell is the oil on the valve cover. i'll go check it and i'l post a video maybe you guy can help.

Saw the comment about a bumper getting covered with black soot. Mine does it to some degree (sooty but no where near covered). But this is only since I switched to a dual DTM-style exhaust. My previous exhaust was also dual oversized tips, but slashcut w/o the DTM turnup.

I use about a quart of oil every 1500 miles (190K).

Are you guys getting soot w/ non-DTM exhausts?

Note that the wife's DX with the same exact muffler/tips (Ractive MTP321) does NOT soot-up the bumper.

I burn about a qaurts every 300 or so mile along with other fluid leaks. It's a scary thing. Eh. to many problems with my rex. The only time I get white smoke is when I sit and rev it around 4k for a couple seconds when I'm not moving. No so bad then .

It's like I don't even have to change the oil since I'm adding so much. Friend of mine is like, don't bother since your adding so much, just change the filter every now and again .
