so, i finaly fixed the 2 biggest problems with my car sounds wise, the header and cat. my header was severly cracked making a LOUD noise as you can expeact, and my cat had fallen to pieces inside, so it made a noise like a ratling paint can. together, 2 veeeery anoying noises, not to mention that all three pieces(header, d-pipe, cat) were very poorly made ebay mockoffs. except for the cat, which was a 15 year old stock. anyway, just wanted to show what i've been up to in the last few hours.

side by side comparison.

the crack in the header, can really see it to well, but you can sure hear it.

which one do you think flows more?

bigger bore=no more overlaping POS header

well, thats it, it runs like a dream, so much quieter, and a noticable increase in power, can wait to combine this and the mini-me swap!

And even tho i got it off ebay, it is truly a DC set. i had DC check the searial number before i put it on to make sure.

ahh so that's what a high-flow "cat" looks like... a glasspack lol..
i need to put a cat on my car as the test pipe i'm rocking makes my car sound buzzy and nasty lol, otherwise, good setup!!
I noticed when i went with the test pipe, i lost all of my low end torque, it was instead placed at the top of the RPM band, in escense, my ZC at about 5500 rpm feels like a VTEC changeover, kinda neat.
