anyone watch Dirty Jobs on discovery channel?

i dont know what all of you do, but there are some jobs on there that youd have to pay me an absolute fortune to do everyday. like the sewage pumping station cleaning or the one where they clean up basements that got flooded with sewage.

makes me glad that i just make stickers everyday. heres what i finished today

That's some amazing work right there. Did you design the imagery as well?

yeah..i sketch out my ideas, use reference photos and stuff for details ,say for example the out line of the castle is Hiroshima castle pre-nuke, draw up other stuff i need, do it all in vector format..cut and stick. all cut vinyl, no prints.

this one was done for a local scion dealership. but i do other ones to compete for import car shows. undefeated in hottest vinyl graphics so far on the east coast since 04.

How many hours did you spend on that finished product (from concept design to pulling off the last piece of transfer paper)?

very nice work, man! i wouldnt put something like that on my car, but i admire the skill and effort to do such a job.

maybe you should get back into the sticker game with some designs like that, jascha? you guys dont live anywhere near one another no fighting for the market

inspiration struck me at about 430am the day after my client asked if i could design something, so i grabbed my prismacolor markers and ripped off a color thumbnail..that took about ten minutes, then i went back to sleep.

got approved for the idea that day, researched what details i wanted for about 2 hours. i had the car for a week so i wasnt rushed. Id say right around 20 hours of vectoring, cutting and installing, and i was taking my time with it. I had a very clear image of what i wanted done so it went smoothly.
