Ok so i picked up my car this week they told me its a CRX but heres the thing the title and owners manual say 1991 / HONDA / CIV / 2DSD. So is it or is it not? Heres some pictures.

Yeah it sure is a crx. . . welcome to the boards. . . . We can help you get it in top shape. . . mine is titled as a civic on the title .. . . . it seems that the car is a honda civic crx. . . .
much like saying chevrolet Camaro z28
or chevy camaro iroc
or ford mustang gt. .
well not soo much. .

but lots of people day they have a z28 and ppl know what they mean. . .

i am guessign it is the same for the crx. . . . afterall it is just a modded civic. . . more or less.

Well I tought it was Civic racing xperiment, but...

The Honda CRX, originally launched as the Honda Ballade Sports CRX in Japan, was a compact sports car manufactured by Honda. The first generation CRX was sold in some regions outside Japan as the Honda Civic CRX. The name "CRX" and what it stands for is widely disputed, the more popular meaning is "Civic Renaissance Model X", although some believe it is an acronym for "Civic racing experiment".

So your car looks like it's been involved in a major accident and has every body panel accordianed?

Owner of the posted CRX, sorry man, bring it to a frame shop and see if the frame is fucked, if it is only the front, straighten it out professionally (1000$ or so), if the back needs work, part her out... Alot of those parts are worth some money.

I'm looking at the pictures again and I really don't think you can save this one.

It appears to have been involved in a pile-up. Both rear quarters have been 'compressed,' neither rear wheel is sitting correctly (esp. driver's side with all that camber) the hatch and driver's door don't appear to shut properly, the passenger door is jammed by the pass. side quarter panel, and the front is obviously crunched. The rear bumper is also dented, which means the reinforcement is bent, and probably the unibody structure behind it.

It's a shame too, because Celestial Blue is among my favorite CRX colors. :cry:
