So it seems like everytime I turn around, I have new dents, or scratches on my rex. Tonite really got me, I went to Wal Mart after washing my car, and I come back out about 20 minutes later and as I am walking up to my rex, and can see a new big dent in my car right in this location, (sorry mithuth for stealing your pic)

I guess I don't get it, I don't go out and cause trouble in my town, or start fights with anyone, I am to old for that crap now, but I find this stuff happening to my car all the time. I'm not a ricer at all, the only ricer thing I have is my stupid fart cannon, because I haven't got my axle-back yet. I was just wondering if any of you have this happen your rex, it is discouraging when I try to make it as nice as I can, and people vandalize it.

My car is keyed pretty badly on the driver door and fender, from just before I bought it. It says "Cool Boy" around the door handle. I could probably fix it pretty easily but I don't know how, and I haven't put much time into it.

This used to happen to me when I was in high school. I got door dings galore, found my car surrounded by shopping carts one time, even had my window broken. Nothing since then though. My car was stock then too! Makes me hate young people.

Yeah, I think it high school kids who probably do it, they are always trying to race me when I am out etc, I dont know why, everyone in my town knows my car is stock, but they still seem to do it. I think now, I am going to pick up something else for a dd, and just keep fixing the issues with it, and keep it in the garage.

When I first bought my 1st gen I had to park my car out on the street as the parents got "driveway rights"... I have a pretty long driveway, so my car wasnt too close to the house. I woke up one morning and my dad asked why I left my passenger door open. I had just gotten new floor mats and seat covers (before I got the seats upholstered), someone (I think I know who) egged the outside of my car and my parents vehicles and stole my carmats! But I guess thats what happens when you throw balloons full of paint thinner at the ex's ford ranger :wink: ....

this used to happen to me all of the time window smashed out system stolen, and my car got keyed once and,, tires flatened.... not much i can do when you have the coolest system at the high school.... and tires i think it was my sisters friends because i pissed them off pretty bad.. keyed not sure who but my dads 06 f-150 just got a big dent in it from someone... and noone drives his truck becides me and him and i know i didnt hit any thing...

so i dont know..

people are probaly just jealous because you have such a nice car...

People don't mess with my rex, cause it is really nice or anything, I would just call it average, so I am not really sure why they do, but I know it does it pretty old. I also had a stereo system stolen in high school. I saved up all my National Guard money, and I got social security money because my dad retired before I graduated, and I spent about $2500 on a very nice system, and it got stolen in about a month and a half, I even had an alarm, but as usual, they got past it.

Oh... I wasnt mad... I was getting even.... it was pretty much the best time of my life!... im sure he figured out it was me because I was bragging about how much fun it was and thats when he got me back!

Seriously, I take all the precautions I can with this car. It is one of a kind in this little town in Wisconsin, and it screams for attention. That's fine when my 300 lbs assorted weapon carrying ass is in it. But if left un-attended, it is still in my sight.

The best car protection, IMHO, another car to run to Wal-Mart with.

I did have a chick write all over my ford pickup with lipstick. And then there was this weird smell in the cab. I couldn't figure it out. I knew it was vinigar, but I didn't know how she got it in there. Well, when washing it the next day, I noticed the water was beading up and moving away from the air intake ducts across the base of the windshield. Bitch. Well, you don't f--k with my stuff when you are already driving on a suspended liscence and my uncle is a cop. She got her third DUI offense and sat for a couple nights because of an anonymous tip. 8)

well as someone who is still in highschool.......it gets the fuck beat out of it at the school parkinglot......had my radio stolen last year and it gets new dents like once a month.......and my school is so damn cheap they wont install a camera in the student parking lot even though someone just got their car stollen from it a few weeks ago. And people have come out of the school to find that someone hit their car and ran. It's just rediculous how often someone gets their car broken into or vandalized in that parking lot.

When I park my rex at high school I park between two cars that are already parked and the people are out of there car. Then I leave before everyone else so I don't reallt have to worry about anyone hurting her. I don't mouth off that my car is fast either(because it is not in a straight line) so I don't really have to worry about much.

yeah, i have about 900 in to a system but its weird though because i have all of the hookups at all of the car audio places here in stillwater, ok.
and i have a buddy that works at kicker so i get every thing half price there. or just his employee discount

but i am a senior and my car really never gets messed with at the high school but my old 93 accord did alot, but it was riced out hahaaha thats the old ricer me, now i am more into it just like all of my friends i grew up with there honda people i got them into hondas, honda is the S**T!!!!!

but i had a alarm when my system got stolen but i dont know what happened to that it always went off when i just touched the fender or the window.. but some how when the window got kicked out it didnt go off.. and it was a loud alarm and i always knew because it was different then all alarms

haha that sucks dude.... atleast that will melt out and easy fix but for the orignal question, what i do now is keep it where you could see it, and keep a poarch light on or a light on it where if anybody drives by they could see what ever is around your car, that is what i had to do and it worked for me
