Fuck VerticalScope. Either put a cap and restrictions on posts in sections, or just get rid of the classifieds. Waste of everyone's time.

This has come up a few times, but to all members looking for parts, use some common sense and be weary of people selling on here.
If something doesn't seem right, go with your gut and walk away.
Some possible "Red Flags" and tips:
-Suspiciously low post count and or/very recently signed up on here.
-Sometimes, broken or bad English/grammar. I realize we have international members here, but it is what it is.
-Too good to be true pricing
-Use a secure payment that has some kind of buyer protection. I still use PayPal and ALWAYS pay "goods and services" this way you have some recourse if you don't get your item and can file a claim.

I got hosed. This is good advice, scammers seem to just hunt for WTB ads and register on any forum and go to work. Live an learn. Back on the hunt for wheels.
