I'm going to be redoing my brakes soon, and am planning on flushing the fluid and putting all fresh stuff in. I'm looking for opinions of whether to use DOT 4 or DOT 5 fluid. I think i remember reading that DOT 4 absorbs water and has a higher boiling point, and DOT 5 does not absorb water but has a lower boiling point? Is this correct. Please educate me if you know what you are talking about.
Thanks.
