hey guys this is crx8grand from the old resource. my girlfriend and I are taking a trip to Casino Niagara. My girlfriend is 19 and we were wondering what the law is concerning us citizens drinking in canada. I heard rumors that even if you are the legal age to drink in canada, if you are a us citizen and under 21 that canadian bars will not serve you. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

In alberta its 18, I'm not too sure about the rules serving US customers however... I think it would be up to bartender.

From what i saw around the niagara falls area it was 19 to getinto a nightclub and drink like rumours or something.... . . yeah def. check out rumours.. . . . Just be careful up there... BTW Welcome to the site.. . . . . . . youll love it here. .

Ya just to verify its 19 for the legal drinking age, and to get into a bar as well . Oh and I just added this, and you can get into a Casino if your 19 as well just so you know, have fun and welcome to the CRX community !

the last time I was in Canada was for N9 in 2003, I was 19 at the time. I went into the SunDowner with my Pennsylvania ID, and was served. So unless they've changed the law since then, it's not an issue.

sooooooooo, Has anyone heard that now to get into the US you need a passport?
