my driver side window is off of its track, the local shop said they would fix it for $182.00!?!?!?! i said holy moly. I was hoping someone here could offer me so insight on if/and how i should go about fixing this myself in my home garage.

For example, is it fairley simple to remove the door panel and gain access to the guts of the manual window assembley??? This is my first import , Im used to tinkering with domestic trucks mostley.

Any help would be greatley appreciated, money is way to tight to be paying close to $200.00 for what i think is an hour at most job. Thanks

Door panel removal is pretty simple.
The thing that usually makes the window go off track is one of the plastic mounting parts coming unglued from the glass itself, once you see for yourself it's pretty obvious. Just reattach it to the glass with some window weld or whatever GOOD adheasive you prefer.
Oh and you can see the mounting parts best with the window rolled down almost all the way.
