Drop zone coil overs

Has anyone tried these or heard about them? how are they i have tenzo r drop springs on my car but the drop is really ugly cuz i dont have a body kit. if you guys ever tried drop zone coilovers or heard about them let me know thanks

I wouldn't install them on my car if they gave them to me for free.
ok guys drop zone is not bad at all i have 95 gsr struts, drop zone coilovers for a 2000 civic, and 92 teg lower control arms front and rear, and my car handles fucking good. so the guy that had the question about the drop zone coil overs go for it i didnt think that it was good till i got them but it all good

They will be better then stock, they just have a strong life span. My friends 95 Civic had that. It handled and rode good but they only felt like that for 3-4 months then they wore out and had a really bouncy ride.
Thats because He had them on stock stuts I have had a set of Dropzone Coilovers on tokico struts for 2 seasons with no problem they still have a good ride quality and they handle better then stock in my opinion

ok i see what your saying. and i agree, but my coilovers has been on there for almost 2 months and it still rides and handles and rides the way it did when i put it on, but so are you guys saying that they completely suck????? or what are you trying to say!!!, if you have aftermarket struts they should be fine. but putting all that on my rex was a tight fit because the struts was so much longer but i got it after a little bit of problem solving. but personaly i think go for it!!!!!
2 months is not a guarantee of quality. In general, DropZone makes cheap parts. You get what you pay for, buyer beware, etc.
true im not going to argue with you on that, but i am hard as hell on cars. so if that says any thing, but just to tell you how hard i am, i have had 3 motors in my car in a year this is the second zc that i have put in it, but yeah i can see what your saying im not here to argue, i just personally think that its not all that bad, but every body has there openion..... right?
The only slide on coil overs I would get is Ground Control.
3 motors in one year??? that sounds more than hard on your car, that sounds abusive.

Damn right...god I went thru 3 engines in my car...by choice. Every engine was pulled in perfect running order, except for the stock D15 that I didn't upkeep.
yeah, the stock one was the d15 **** it was fine. nothing was wrong with it. and i have 2 zc the one i just pulled out last weekend rod was knocking i think i ran it out of oil but i had oil in it two days before. so i dont know, so i went to humble and bought another zc and slaped it in there and now im on the 3 motor, but i drive the hell out of cars. i take care of them i just wrap them out too much, so after the last motor i relized no more unless im axually racing. the reason i do that is because i love speed and i feel like i cant go any were unless i go fast and so i get on it like crazy, but i finaly realized to slow down!!!!!!!!!!
My car has had 6, with most in the last couple years... I think my car is cursed though.

1-original D16A6 died before I got the car
2-replacement D16A6 died 2 months after I got the car... oil pump
3-ZC developed rod knock, pulled running
4-ZC was rebuilt, lasted 2 days... found out a year or so later the crank was pitted in the 4th rod journal, thus the engine blowing
5-D15B2 with MPFI lasted a just shy of a year before blow-by became unacceptable.. went through more oil than gasoline
6-D16A6 pulled running ok, though it did smoke again, being rebuilt into "engine 7"
7- A6/Z6 mini-me... to be completed

They are junk, point blank.

To the original question and person who posted this...SAVE YOUR MONEY and get some quality parts instead of picking up some ricer garbage just because you want the car lower.

"Measure twice, cut once", why not do things right the first time instead of putting garbage on and having to spend more money to re-do everything? :?:

Sounds like a 16 year old kid with more balls then brains. I've learned that speeding is stupid. Not only do you waste gas, but you waste oil, you waste engines, you waste the integrady of your car, you waste your brakes and you risk getting a) a ticket b) going to fast resulting in lost of license (been there, done that) or c) you risk injuring yourself, or other, because you lost control of your car.

I drive my car like an old grandma, why? Cause I'd rather see 600kms to a tank then to get somewhere 2 minutes earlier. I also like to see my brakes like 50XXXkms and I also like to see my tires last a long time. MY B18 burns oil, so it rarely sees over 3500rpm, only on 2 spots of my 40km commute daily does it see some redline, but it's only in 3rd gear because I'm getting on the highway. Since my YS1 runs out of gearing fast with a not so revving engine, I don't even get to 120kmh lol.

PS: A worn (oil burner) ZC isn't even fast to be honest. I really wouldn't wanna hear what you would do with a powerful engine, the thought is scary.

Those type of ppl are why Honda's in general have the ricer reputation that they have. :x
Maybe I'm just lucky. I drive my A6 hard as well, but I also perform a lot of meticulous upkeep on it. I"m of the feelign that if you maintain and engine properly, especially a stockish one, it will last a long time, especially a honda engine.
so what are you guys saying that im just a poser or somthing?????? im just saying im 17 by the way almost 18, and my family dont have alot of money so i get what i can to get by, and when i got my car the shocks were stock and completely worn out, and also the guy i got it from had some ****ty apc coilovers on it, so i had a friend that had a 95 gsr and i took the shocks off of it and my friend cody had a 2000 civic who got tien suspension gave me his drop zones. and i have to admit there not the best but they do have a good ride for how cheap they are. and i have brains i lost my lisence last year for this crap and when it happeded i learned not to do it so much, and yeah your right the zc is not all that fast!!!!! but i cant afford nothing else. so all i have done to it is act 2 12 lb flywheel a aerospeed catback exhaust, and a full cold air, ngk plugs and wires, and advanced timing other than that i have a crap load of breaks and suspension work. big break up grade for a g2 integra, front and rear. steel braided break lines, g2 lower controll arms front and rear, sway bars from the g2 and integra mastercylinder. i get by with what i can. i might not do the smartest of things. but i just hate people talking **** for no reason i was just giving my advice that there not bad for the money. so i think you guys need lay off of me and **** ciz yeah i have to agree am kinda stupid but i do have brains to do stuff right and i just dont choose to because i like to susprise people. i like to be the last resort type of person that knows quiet a bit im going to school to be a mechanic and all that so i do know stuff im not completely car retarded. but i just got into this honda scene like last year. so i still have things to learn befor i was into the lowrider scene. but just give me a break alright!!!!!!

Can ANYONE decipher that?

You come with this random, incomprehensible banter that makes NO sense, and you expect ppl to take you seriously?
I couldn't even get through all of that because it gave me a headache trying to figure out where sentences stop and start.

What is it with the sudden influx of new young ppl on here that can't seem to form complete sentences to save their lives in attempting to convey their thoughts?
