our DD eclipse has been gurgling and cutting out, i pulled the number 1 cylinder plug and there wass an ass load of oil sitting on it, so i cleared it all out with a squirter of a bottle of windex , figuring it just wasn't getting a good connection and thus negating a miss in firing, but started it up and its still doing it, now i know dsms have a natural retardation but thats neither here nor there so please don't give me a usless post like "i know your problem, its a mitsu" cuz i already know that :!:

but any help is appriciated, i am going to go pick up a valve cover gasket kit to stop the spark plug from filling up with oil

So is the problem from the #1 cylinder? Is it like your only runnig on 3 cylinders? Pull the plug wire on #1 while its running to see if there is a change. Also it sound like the valve cover spark plug o ring has given up if I understand you right.
