soo...i got this Dual headunit around may ish...and then in around late july early aug...it stopped turning on...it has a removable face plate and when thats off usually a red light flashes..but it doesnt...i checked the wiring and fuses they do not look damaged...but i still gotta check whether its gettin power through the wiring or if the head is busted..but does anyone know how i can fix it? or do i gotta get a new one...which i dont really want to

Test to see if its getting power first, that will tell you where the problem is. A simple volt meter will work well. Make sure the key is on before doing the test.

Bought duel speakers for my car. put the front in and drove around for a day. Blew them out in a matter of an hour. Brought them back to autozone and got a refund back. Took that refund and got kicker speakers.

The two companies that i recommend is Kicker or if you want something of a higher quality, go with Crossfire.

As far as quality equipment, the only advice I can give is ......

1) Don't shop at best buy
2) Don't buy audio from auto parts stores

The only way, IN MY OPINION, to get good audio equipment is stay away from mainstream. Just my opinion.
