On one of the dutch forums there's this kid that got a crx not long ago.

I'm one that strongly discourages younger drivers to get a CRX. Mind you, ours already came with either a B16 or a DOHC ZC.

Well, this loud mouth had some "work done" on his car.
You know... important stuff.
Like a big rear spoiler, and a loud exhaust.

Well, looks like his mistook a 30mph speed limit for 80Pmph. You know...3 and 8 look awfully alike. He went off in a fast and narrow left-hander. The pictures make it painfully obvious what happened next.

Not work safe, but no gore.

I can't see anything you could even salvage from it.
Looks like at least the pass. seat could be.

Dont drive like an a** and this wont happen. Hope the kid pulls though and at least learned a lesson. Hope he doesnt want another rex.

Dont think your the only on, around here, guys in evo's and mustangs think there on the autobond.

One more note, he didnt reck the car. It just got tired and wanted to take a seat.

Crx's amaze me. That thing is just smashed to pieces but look at the state of the passenger compartment. If it were one of several other 'small' cars it would be squished!

Hopefully the two guys come out ok in the end.

True lots of younger drivers are reckless. However I see lots of older drivers even in their 30's and 40's that have been driving long enough that they think they know everything. Over confidence can sometimes be just as bad...
But yes I will agree that allot of accident are caused by teenagers and people in their early 20's.
On another note I think a CRX is a great car for a young driver. I think it is much better for an inexperienced driver to be behind the wheel of a tiny little CRX with quick handling, then it is for one to be in a larger vehicle that would cause much more damage if it where if be in a accident.

Like I said. Most of our CRXes have more than half more power than yours...stock.

You don't want a 18 year old bravourous kid let loose on traffic with his buddy in a 130-150Hp car then he has no concept of speed, let alone experience in cathching a spin in the first place.

50 miles over on such a small road is just a case of darwin. Sucks about the passenger. I hope the bench is OK.
