Good catch. It's been removed from eBay now. I just tried the link. That makes it sound like it WAS a scam.

Good lookin' out, there, Robb. Hope mine never appear on eBay!

LoL
The ebay seller just emailed me back this morning...

Hello,
The car is located in Davenport IA. It has all the papers (complete) as well as the service book. I want this transaction to be smooth enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have very few time at my disposal. 87,550 miles on board, in excellent running and body condition, no flaws on it or any other mechanical problems. It has a clear title and it will be signed and notorized on your name as soon as the payment will be completed.
The buy it now price is $2,700. including shipping costs anywhere in the continental US. By sending your amount to eBay Motors you are not buying the car, is just the way the program works (and in case you buy the car it will give you a 1 month/1000 miles guarantee). However, it is 100% refundable if the car is not as described. There are no other costs regarding this transaction. I apologize for asking for such information but I need to be sure.
If you are interested please provide me the following information's necessary to take a decision:
-your full name and address for shipping
-your phone #
-any negative feedback and if so.... for what reason
Thank you,
Jenny Faber

when i was shopping for a rex in february on ebay I found a listing with pictures from an ad on autotrader.

the autotrader ad was the real car, great shape, only 74,000 some miles. :D

ebay ad was all the same pictures, but the car was in a different location and stated 170,000 some odd miles. The pics looked so good it was easy to tell it was BS, but people still bid on it. I still wonder if the winner of that auction went through with the transaction. I tried to get info just for giggles, but the guy never replied. i hate scammers.
