okay i wanted to start a thread of items you would and would not buy on ebay cheap... im starting this thread beucase im thinking about getting a cheap pair of hinged strut bars and was wondering what the quality is like and if anyone else uses them.. but also i think it would be a good place to post what you have gotten at a cheap price from ebay that actually works.

CAI cheap works great, all 4 strut bars work great corners were more fun than scary and yes the hinge type, steering wheel and hub work just fine, got b16 from someone that sells motor swaps on ebay he sells them but anoter company pulls and shipps them so far all i can say about that is i didnt get half the stuff i ordered harness was cut all up tranny wasnt attatched axles were crap linkage was to long but and asof right now all i can say is it runs and hes returned the money for what i didnt get but it takes forever to get them to believe you! as for turbo stuff my buddy got a fmic bov knockoff and mbc for like 175 they work well hope that helps you a little

It all depends on what you mean by eBay items, obviously you can get top-notch brand name stuff on eBay. Assuming you mean the usual no-name cheap eBay stuff, I've bought quite a bit of stuff for all of my Honda/Acuras over the years on there that has worked perfectly. Right now I have a generic black intake (with K&N filter) for like $35, I've gotten a few other intakes on there as well...strut bars, steering wheel and quick-release hub (these were NRG, a name brand although not exactly Momo, etc...but not the cheap $25 steering wheels you see on there), header (I've got a DC header right now that came with the car, but I've had cheap stainless ones work fine for years), short shifters (again not on my current car, but I've never had one snap!), as well as any cosmetic items like corner/bumper lights, pedals, shift knobs, indiglo gauges (obviously back in the day)...never had a problem with any of these items, personally.

It was very open-form, beat-poet, stream-of-consciousness prose, very much Allen Ginsberg/Jack Kerouac/William S. Burroughs-esque, and it was SO CLOSE to all being one long, beautiful, perfect, poetic sentence...but then it fell apart just short of the end with a lousy exclamation point.

The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing but burn, burn, burn like fabulous roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes 'Awww!"

The similarities are striking, are they not?

i was never a fan of punctuation (i did go back and add some punctuation to it directlly after posting it) and cant seem to remember a time i passed english ever i should itemize from now on!
