currently i drive a 89 HF as a daily driver untill i can get enough money for a nicer CRX but with this current car the electronics are messed up.

nothing in the car is getting the voltage it needs to run at its fullest. the lighter plug and cd player harness only have 2 or 3 volts running threw them nothing compared to the 12 volts it should be non the less i cant even have a cd player.. the lights are very dim defroster barly works.. im not sure what would cause this problem.. my first thoughts was the alternator was very weak but i got it tested at auto zone and the alternator runs fine around 50 amps and thats ideal for an HF.. so now i have no idea how to fix this problem

what condition is the HF in?

its just at 181,000 miles.. the motors absolutly fine it runs perfect..when idling the rpms drop real low because of the power problem im having im assuming but other than that its fine. cosmeticly its not so great but everything works.. ice cold AC

sounds like a battery and or alternator problem. did they check your battery?

Would a bad ground cause some of these symptoms?
