Engine Ideas
I would like to take a whack at building an engine. I would like to buy another b series engine ( havent decided vtec or not ) to play around with. It will eventually make it in to my current crx.
My question is what should I start with. I like my b16 but would like some more torque. I want somthing that I could get good amount of power out of but be reliable for daily driving. Possibly go turbo down the road.
Right now im just lookin for some ideas and your experiance with the different engines and setups.

well since you said "take a whack at building an engine". then i would go with a B20. it has the most torque in any B-series engine. and we all know torque is where it's at :twisted: . and if you could live without the high rev's then i wouldn't go with a CR/VTEC set-up. but if you can't live without them, then slap on your B16 head.black_krix_si said:I would like to take a whack at building an engine. i've had the B18a/b and a B20z in my crx's. and the B20z blows the B18a/b out of the water. but i love my B18c over my B20z when it comes to top end and high rev's.
