Hey guys, I recently bought an exhaust and installed it, it didn't fit really well and the muffler was too big and was scraping. That was not a big problem. THe problem is when I drove it, and when it reaches 3000RPM there is a distinctive rattling noise that is coming from the back. My friend told me it was because I had no cat, but the sound sounded like something is loose or metal hitting metle. So today I got rid of the badly made exhaust, from the axle back and up, I've replaced the muffler with a magnaflow, and the axleback was customly welded and bent so no metal is touching. But same problem still exsists. Everytime it hits 3000RPM the sharp rattling noises comes back and it goes away after it clears 3500 RPM. I told my friend to listen to the noise while I drive, and it sounded like it did not come from the exhaust instead it came from something inside of the car. I was wondering if you guys can help me out. What can possibly vibrate or come loose in the back? The sound is driving me absolutley crazzzzzy. Thanks
